A Transformer Less Step-Up DC-DC Converter with Continuous Input and Output Current Based on Buck-Boost and Cuk Converters

In this paper, a step-up DC-DC converter based on buck-boost and Cuk converter has been proposed. The topology of the proposed converter is in a form that operates in two modes. Improvements and advantages of the proposed converter in comparison with buck-boost, Cuk, cascade of buck-boost and Cuk and other high gains, have been discussed. Matlab and PLECS are the simulation engines which have been used in this study. In the end, the simulation results were extracted and compared with experimental results to verify the compatibility of the results. The efficiency of the proposed converter has been reported at the end.
