Abstract:

In this study, graphene/TiO۲ nanocomposite was used to enhance the electroconductivity of cotton fabric. A simple dip-coating method was applied to load graphene oxide on the surface of cotton fabric. For reducing the graphene oxide and fabricating nanocomposite of reduced graphene oxide (RGO)/TiO۲, TiCl۳ aqueous solution was used as a reducing agent and precursor. So, to complete the process of fabrication, the fabric included graphene oxide was immersed in TiCl۳ solution. The process is shown in figure ۱. Microstructure and morphology of samples were characterized by SEM images and Raman spectroscopy. Electrical resistivity was also measured using the two prob multimeter. The nanocomposite of the RGO/TiO۲/cotton fabric increased the electrical conductivity of fabric which was due to the presence of graphene as expected.
