Single Allocation Ordered Median Hub Location Problem: A Novel Fuzzy Approach

Hubs are facilities that decrease cost of a many-to-many distribution system by acting as an interconnectorbetween nodes of demand and supply. Obviously this facility can reduce the number of directlinks needed in a logistics network. In this paper, authors propose a fuzzy programming approach forone of new models of literature which is single allocation ordered median problem. We apply ourmethod on Kalleh dairy Co. data of transportation as a case study and compare crisp and fuzzysituations. It will be shown that the results could be better in the fuzzy approach of the problem.
