Abstract:

Solid wastes are one of the problems of today's world. Waste treatment methods include landfill, incineration, anaerobic digestion, gasification and pyrolysis. These methods have disadvantages and have not been fully responsive to the human needs for waste disposal. Hence, the need to introduce a better method is felt. The most recent method is plasma gasification. By the plasma arc method, temperatures of up to ۵۰۰۰ ° C can be achieved because of free electrons. Provided the environment in a state of oxygen deficiency, this temperature can turn almost all materials into gas. The process described in the article involve four steps of separation, pre-treatment of waste, waste processing inside the reactor, gas purification and refining gas and energy production. The main output gasses are . The two-stage plasma process has higher feed capacity and better synthetic gas quality
