Abstract:
In this paper the results of comparative analysis of methods for the nonlinear seismic analysis of reinforced concrete frames are presented. Two different methods of nonlinear response analysis are considered: one is the nonlinear response analysis based on the use of Ramberg-Osgoods relations for calculation of stiffness prior to dynamic analysis; the second is the nonlinear analysis with successive changes of stiffness depending on joint rotation values
