Abstract:

In this study, bis (۱(۳trimethoxysilylpropyl)-۳-methyl-imidazolium) copper tetrachloride tethered to colloidal silica nanoparticles was employed as an efficient and recyclable ionic liquid catalyst for the synthesis of novel chromeno[۴,۳-d]thiazolo[۳,۲-a]pyrimidin-۶-one derivatives via one pot three component reaction containing ۴-hydroxycoumarin, aromatic aldehydes and ۲-aminothiazole under thermal conditions. The reaction were followed with the knoevenagel condensation and cyclization. To make our product, this catalyst has excellent performance advantages compared to previous works, reusability, adaptability, high catalyst stability, with low reaction time and excellent efficiency. The obtained product and ionic liquid attached to colloidal silica nanoparticles were recognized with H-NMR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS).
