Abstract:

Climate change and global warming worries have triggered world attempts to mitigate the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO۲). Appling carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies is considered as a determining strategy for achieving CO۲ emission mitigation objectives. The importance of the CCS technology transfer and its role in the industrial development of countries and filling the technology gap between developing countries and developed countries is an undeniable fact. The transfer of CCS technologies to Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries (OGPIs) of Iran has not been done, and their transfer to these industries requires management. The CCS technologies transfer can be analyzed in different models of technology transfer based on the conditions of the transferor and the receiver of the technology. In this regard, the use of green technology management (TM) framework is needed as a center for policy-making and coordination of conceptual and dynamic systems in the feasibility of the CCS technologies transfer. Therefore, the aim of paper is to offer a conceptual decision-making approach based technology management framework for the feasibility of CCS technologies transfer according to the technology transfer models in OGPIs of Iran.
