Abstract:

در تمدن­های دوران باستان، باورهای مردمان درباره خدایان و شاهان و چگونگی انجام مناسک و آیین­ها از اهمیت خاصی برخوردار بوده است. یکی از آیین­های تمدن­های خاورمیانه باستان که در ارتباط با آن، مراسم گوناگونی بین این تمدن­ها رایج بوده، ادای احترام نسبت به خدایان و شاهان بوده است. از آنجا که بین این تمدن­ها در زمینه­های گوناگون زبانی، دینی و آیینی شباهت بسیاری وجود داشته و به دلیل ارتباط، تاثیرات متقابلی بر هم داشته­اند، می­توان به باورهای آنان درباره این آیین­ها پی برد. در این مقاله، تلاش بر آن است که نوع احترام نسبت به شاهان ایرانی در دوره هخامنشی و ساسانی بررسی شود و در عین حال، نگاره­ پرسپولیس در دوره هخامنشی و نگاره­های ساسانی، با نگاره­های شرق باستان مقایسه شود تا به منشاء ادای احترام در دوره هخامنشی و ساسانی و چگونگی انجام این آیین­ها، شباهت­ها، تفاوت­ها و باورهای آنان برده شود.
