Abstract:
force and speciafic energy are important factors in all abrasive machining operations especially in creep-feed grinding of hard materials.they are in direct connection ,with wheel wear ,girinding accuracy ,ginding temperature and surface integrity.this paper in vestigates the effect of girinding technological parameters on grinding force and specific energy in up-cut creep -feed grinding of tungsten carbid with 20%cobalt using a resin -bond diamond wheel.it is seen that increase of feed rate results in grinding force increase and specific energy decrease as wheel peripheral speed is increased specific energy increases and grinding force is almost unaffected.
