An investigation the role of HIV on quality of life among couples

Objective: The purpose of this study was to review the role of HIV in quality of life of the marital satisfaction from the perspective of various domestic and foreign sources in the past few years. Research method: The method of present research was library-review study. Thus, the keywords of HIV, Quality of Life and marital satisfaction were searched in the search engines of Persian Articles Bank include Google Scholar, SID, Noormags, Magiran and Civilica and foreign articles bank including Google Scholar, PubMed, Springer, Science Direct and Scopus with a time limit of ۲۰۰۰ to ۲۰۲۱, and the most related articles to the purpose of this study were selected.Results: It was learnt that numerous studies of domestic and foreign researchers on the subject of HIV negative role on the quality life among couples. It seems HIV have strong relationship with mental disorder specially depression. Conclusion: People with HIV have a great predisposition to get mental disorder so HIV have negative effect of quality of life so in order to improve the quality of life mental specialist should be sensitive to mental disorder especially depression.
