From Indian Stupas to Chinese Pagodas abstract
In this study, I wanted to explain that religion has close connection with imagination and artistic creation, and in the meantime, by considering where the religious rituals and ceremonies are feasted; a place that spatially fits into the form of architecture, an architecture that in some expressions is called the mother of arts. I used this multiplicity of single religious manifestations as a theme in Buddhist architecture to investigate Buddhist architecture and its changes from India to China. The research method in this research is documentary-library and with a deeper look I have studied a small part of the different manifestations of Buddhist architecture. In addition, religion is a relative category, if we consider religion as a fixed and general category in all societies, then it leads to a series of uniform and uniform artistic imaginations and creations in all times and places. But since we are dealing with multiple artistic manifestations in different societies, it must be stated that religion is a single category with multiple manifestations; That multiple religious manifestations cause multiplicity in different artistic manifestations.
