Abstract:

Objective: Biofilm formation in bacteria is an important way of causing bacterial infections, which makes treatment more difficult by creating resistance toantibiotics. Biofilm formation is an important factor in exacerbating their pathogenesis, such as bacteria. Methods: The micro titer plate assay used for investigation of biofilm formation in bacteria. Colonies isolate were in broth cultured and incubated one night for ۲۴ h at ۳۷°C. Supernatant was inoculated in plate (well flat-bottomed polystyrene). Finally, each sample of the ELISA reader was read and calculated. Result: Biofilm can have useful bio-applications such as biofuels, water treatment. Despite its use, the formation of biofilms by pathogens can be effective in the formation of tooth decay, infectious diseases and resistance to antibiotics. Conclusion: Although biofilm is used in some cases, such as biofuels, water treatment, but the formation of biofilm in the patient's body by the pathogen canprolong treatment and increase the severity of the disease
