Abstract:

The present study was an attempt to extend our knowledge on the relationship between Iranianteachers’ creativity and their classroom management. Besides, it was within the scope of thisstudy to see whether age and gender could affect on Iranian teachers’ view on decision makingas well as classroom management. To achieve such goals, ۱۲۰ Iranian EFL teachers were askedto take part in the study by filling out two questionnaires, namely, Behavior and InstructionalManagement Scale (BIMS) by Martin and Sass (۲۰۱۰) and the Teaching Style Inventory (TSI)by Grasha (۱۹۹۶). Then, the researcher calculated correlation coefficient and IndependentSample T-test. The findings highlighted that there wasn’t a statistically significant relationshipbetween teachers’ decision making styles and their classroom management. In addition, thefindings emphasized there was a statistically significant difference across the gender groupsregarding their attitudes towards creativity and classroom management. Likewise, it wasrevealed that there was a significant difference between Iranian EFL male and female teachersconcerning their attitudes towards creativity. However, the findings presented that decisionmaking style of male and female teachers predictive the classroom management strategies.
