Simulation of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant Using HYSYS Flowsheeting Software

With the use of process simulation softwares which allow complete studies of the processes verification and optimization of the processes can be validated during the engineering phase. In this work, by means of HYSYS flowsheeting software a gas liquefaction plant was simulated and some important parameters such as mixed refrigerant composition, precooling temperature and subcooling temperature have been optimized to reach a more efficient production of LNG.
