Abstract:

In recent years, the analysis of the performance of the HVAC (heating, ventilation and airconditioning) system for the optimal use of energy has received much attention. In this article, themodeling, numerical simulation and intelligent control of an HVAC system including two differentareas with variable flow rate according to the ambient temperature have been investigated. Thesystem model has been calculated by means of displacement and conduction heat transferequations, cooling unit and fan. All models of the variable flow rate of the HVAC system areexpressed using MATLAB software Simulink, and the parameters of the PID controller are alsoadjusted by fuzzy rules. Finally, the results of the self-adjusting PID controller with fuzzy logic havebeen compared with the results of the classic PID controller and fuzzy PD control.
