Abstract:
In this paper two Lattice Gas Automata (LGA) models (HPP and FHP-I) are used to solve the wave equation for plane wave propagation and point source modeling. LGA uses a discrete system of interacting particles. All the variables in LGA are binary and this method does not need floating point variables. Three kinds of boundary conditions are presented. It is shown that FHP-I shows more attenuation, but is more isotropic in comparison with HPP model
