Application of Organoplatinum Complexes in the Construction of Valuable C‒X (X =C, O, F, S) Organic Bonds: Mechanistic and Theoretical Investigations

Oxidative addition (OA) and reductive elimination (RE) reactions have been extensively investigated in platinumcomplexes for the construction of various bonds. In this regard, we utilized different Pt(II) complexes to prepare new C‒Xbonds (X = C, F, S, O). Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were also carried out to study the suggestedmechanism for these transformations.
