Abstract:

Currently, various CFD analyses have been performed on the form of the submarine fuselage to minimize the force of resistance entering the fuselage. There are several parameters that should be considered for a design a submarine form. One of the most important parameters is the overall resistance of the body. In this context, shape of empty body, has been studied without any extension, since according to studies, nearly ۷۰% of the total resistance entered into the subsurface vessel is allocated to the empty body. In the first step, Diameter of the cylindrical part and models should be changed in order to obtaining different hydrophiles for design, modelling and optimization of these types of surface vessels. According to the action, effect of this parameter on resistant force value and volumetric-aqueous efficiency has been investigated. Then, different models of nose and heel shapes have been obtained by changing the coefficients of the relevant equations and have been well investigated. For validation, the simulation results for Sub off subsurface vessel have been compared with the existing experimental results, indicating high validity and accuracy of the results of this method.
