Abstract:

In this work Fe۲O۳ nanoparticles with different weight percentages were added to the cement mortar. To investigate the effect of these nanoparticles on the corrosion resistance of rebar inside the concrete, EIS test of different samples was obtained in ۳.۵% sodium chloride solution. The effect of different weight percentages of nanoparticles on the impedance of concrete was investigated and the optimal weight percentage was obtained. The results showed that adding more than the optimal amount causes a relative decrease in the impedance.
