Abstract:
The stability of quay walls against earthquakes, tsunamis, and the collision of large vessels and preventing large-scale damage is of great importance. Although many of the current walls of the docks have little resistance in this regard. And in case of earthquake, tsunami and strong impact, they do not have adequate safety. In this research, using optical fiber Bragg (FBG) sensors, the application of the new vibrometry method based on the aforementioned technique, in addition to the implementation of the physical model, has also been simulated in software form. By creating the ability to record vibrations in a wide frequency range, this system has the possibility of measuring the stress caused by tsunami, impact of large vessels and low frequency vibrations of earthquakes. The possibility of using intelligent analysis of the received signals and sending them through optical fiber networks is another characteristic of the proposed method
