Abstract:

Nowadays, the increase of CO۲ concentration is the most of important issue in the whole world. It made by industrial activities, fossil fuels and close space such as shuttles and submarine. Many sorbents used for CO۲ capture. The aim of this work is CO۲ capture from close spaces with amine sorbents. Among the sorbents, solid amine sorbents are the main categories, because They have an ability to regeneration at the lower temperature and they make covalence bond with CO۲. The most common mechanism for CO۲ capture in amines involves the formation of a zwitterion through the interaction of CO۲ and an amine that this reaction does in hydrous and anhydrous condition. Then carbamate ion created from the reaction between CO۲ and amines on the surface of sorbent. In this work, we synthesize diamino glyoxime (DAG) for use CO۲ capture. The sorbent effect of DAG evaluated by flourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and ۱H nuclear magnetic resonance (۱H NMR). Then adsorption/desorption cycles were done in different times. It was done in hydrous and anhydrous conditions with CO۲ and N۲. Therefor, the adsorption/desorption capacity of amine was measured by weight measurement. significantly Increasing of weight of adsorbent was observed and it evaluated by FT-IR.
