In this paper, the stages of the process of value engineering, which includes information gathering,determination of the value criterion, the initiative, the evaluation of ideas, and eventually the extension ofthe selective idea, are introduced. Also, the actions taken by the value engineering method in the Kuchridam project, which are in the direction of the water transfer project The watershed of Dez River is locatedin Qom Rd, is being analyzed.
