Abstract:
The reactive intermediate generated by the addition of tert-butyl and ۱,۱,۳,۳-tetramethyl butylisocyanide and cyclohexyl isocyanide to dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylate was trapped by ۳-hydroxy pyridine to produce highly functionalized ۴H-chromenes in fairly good yields.
