Contract Requirements in E-commerce Law

The increasing progress of information technology and technology has led traders and individuals, whether real or legal, to use electronic contracts as one of the most reliable methods of commerce. However, there are legal gaps in the framework governing electronic contracts and e-commerce in Iran. These gaps limit the effectiveness of electronic contracts. To reduce these gaps, it is necessary to rely on general rules and principles governing contracts and identify the main characteristics of electronic transactions.Insufficient laws and regulations in this area have led to problems in electronic contracts, which can be considered one of the fundamental problems in the field of e-commerce. This research focuses on the electronic contract, the commitments of the parties, and its requirements in e-commerce. Using a descriptive-analytical method and library studies, it examines the requirements of contracts in e-commerce law and discusses the necessary measures to ensure the conformity of electronic contracts with its legal requirements.
