Energy and exergy analysis of a geothermal-based trigenerationsystem using LNG as the heat sink abstract
In the present study, a trigeneration system of producing hot water, cooling and power based on organic Rankine cycle and absorptionrefrigeration cycle that uses geothermal hot water to supply its energyhas been introduced and analyzed. Also, in the study of the proposedsystem, liquefied natural gas has been used as a heat well. Based on theresults, the system that uses the organic Rankin cycle with OFWH hasthe best performance among the three systems studied. Also, R141b hasthe highest performance among the six working fluids examined. Moreover, it was found that the energy and exergy efficiencies of thesystem decrease with increasing geothermal fluid temperature.
