Controller Design of a Hybrid Active Power Filter Based on Time Response abstract

A controller design method of a hybrid active power filter (HAPF) based on time response is proposed in this paper. The time response of the HAPF is analyzed by poles, and zeroes of the system based on averaged model. For harmonic compensation, the source current detection technique is used in the proposed control method. This technique with reactive power ratio are examined in detail in this paper. The b-shape C-type topology is employed as topology of the HAPF. This topology is transformer-less and appropriate in high voltage distribution system (up to 20kV). The presentedcontrol method is simulated and the simulation results show validation of the proposed control method.
