Study of relation between participating collective prayer rite and reducing student'sanxiety from department of humanities in Islamic Azad University, branch of Khomeinishahr

One of most stable human soul’s manifestations andmost authentichumanexistence’ dimensions are the sense of blessingand worship. Study of human’s lifehistory indicates that everywhere and whenever it is a human, there is blessingandworship but his or her worship’s shape is different; from the view point of shape,collective and rhythmical movements followed by a series of recitals and praises toexcellent humility and very advanced praises and from of view point ofworshipped, from rock and wood to eternal entity and sinless existence, from placeand time, all are reacting to the sense of blessing. Moreover, prayer effects onmundane life, this act has a considerable effect on the afterlife of human, in themanner that if prayer is not acceptable in the afterlife, no action of human will beadmitted.Research method is a descriptive as far as kind of correlative. Statistical populationin the research is all students from department of humanities in Islamic AzadUniversity, branch of Khomeinishahr who were studying in academic years 2010-2011.Research instrument is 82-question questionnairewhose 27 questions are aboutmeasuring participation level in a collective prayer. Other questions are relating toZangtest anxiety. This questionnaire has 48 questions that measure and analyze thedata. Sampling method is a random-category one and sample size is 150 persons.In descriptive level, by using statistics, correlative coefficient and associate t-testare used.
