شبکه های اجتماعی به دنبال چه هستند؟

Social networking sites are the new generation of web pages, these days has been in the spotlight of World Wide Web users. Such sites are activating through making online communities and each of them collect group of Internet users with certain characteristics. In simple terms, social networking sites are a type of social media in which there is a possibility of making new types of communication and sharing contents through internet. Today, millions of internet users are member of different social networks and allocate part of their online activities to social network sites. In this paper along with studying the virtual social networks as a newborn information and communication technology it is attempted to answer basically what social networks are looking for? At the beginning of this article social network’s literature and its typology is presented. Then, virtual social network’s impacts on different social issues like political interest increase of divorce, and information world is explained. At the end, its targets and functions, their advantages and disadvantages are stated and some general recommendations regarding the proper utilization methods of virtual social network are discussed.
