Abstract:

Background: Considering the importance of sexual performance of women with cancer, this studywas conducted with the aim of investigating the sexual performance of women with gynecologicalcancers referred to selected medical centers in Tehran in ۲۰۱۸.Method: The research population included all women with genital tract cancer referred to selectedmedical centers in Tehran. A total of ۱۲۵ infected women were studied. A demographicinformation questionnaire and the women's sexual function index (FSFI; Rosen et al., ۲۰۰۰) wereused to collect data. Then it was analyzed using descriptive statistics and SPSS-۲۲ software.Findings: The results of the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) also showed that the changes inthe average score of sexual function in women with genital cancer are statistically insignificant (p> ۰.۰۵).The results of variance analysis showed that the differences in all six dimensions of the sexualfunction questionnaire in women with all three types of genital cancer in this study, which includeovarian, uterine, and cervical cancer, are not different. ۰.۰۵).Also, the analysis showed that the overall score of the performance questionnaire for these threegroups was not significantly different (p > ۰.۰۵).Results: The results of this study showed that there is no difference between the overall sexualfunction and its components in women with genital tract cancer. The type of genital tract cancerhas an effect on women's sexual performance
