Abstract:

The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying and investigating the causes of marital conflicts in Sistan and Baluchestan province. According to the method of data collection, this study is of a descriptive-survey type (quantitative data from the marital conflict questionnaire and qualitative data from an unstructured interview). In this research, ۵۰ couples and ۲۰ counselors were used to collect data. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method with an inductive approach, and then the results obtained from the implementation of the marital conflicts questionnaire were analyzed. According to the results of the research, ۹ main categories of the causes of marital conflicts among couples were identified, which include: communication problems, livelihood and economic problems, physical and mental problems, sexual problems, behavioral and cultural problems, problems with having children and raising children. Emotional divorce is an increase in emotional response and a decrease in cooperation between couples. Also, ۳۴ subcategories were extracted, which include: being influenced by parents, infidelity, inappropriate communication between couples, lack of mutual understanding, unemployment, economic problems, lack of suitable conditions for starting a life together, shared housing with parents, drug abuse, problems Mental, physical problems, physical conflict, husband-wife cold-temper, lack of attention to the mutual needs of couples in sexual relations, respect for the spouse, correct communication with the spouse, abuse of the spouse, trust in the spouse, dissatisfaction with sexual relations, physical diseases related to sexual performance, unusual sexual requests, unpleasant habits, aggressive behaviors, excessive dependence, lack of maturity necessary to start a life together, improper clothing, problems of the couple in having children, problems in raising children, appearance problems, physical illness. , mental illness, inappropriate financial expectations, problems in financial affairs, lack of interest in each other and decrease in intimacy and trust.
