Abstract:
Production of agricultural products, as one of the primary foundations of the country's economy, has been introduced as a profitable project in the agricultural sector due to its economic benefits and high added value. Iran is one of the world's largest pistachio producers, and Iranian pistachios are highly popular in the global market due to their exceptional quality and taste, being used in many countries. Additionally, pistachio production is economically significant in Iran and serves as one of the most important sources of income for many exporting countries. This article focuses on the economic evaluation of establishing a ۱۰۰-hectare pistachio orchard in the village of Peik in Savojbolagh County. In this research, using the profitability analysis method, various financial indicators, including Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Return on Investment (ROI), have been calculated for the establishment of the pistachio orchard. The data used in this article was obtained from the Agricultural Jihad Organization of Savojbolagh County in ۱۴۰۳. The results indicate that NPV is equal to ۳۸۱ million Iranian Rials, BCR is ۸.۵۳, IRR is ۴۶%, and ROI is ۱۰ years, demonstrating that establishing a ۱۰۰-hectare pistachio orchard in the village of Peik in Savojbolagh County is a highly profitable project. It is presented as an attractive and profitable project for investors. Furthermore, the use of quality seeds and the adoption of new technologies can lead to significant improvements in orchard performance and profitability. Detailed investigations in technical and managerial aspects are required to achieve desirable objectives in the implementation of this project.
