مقدمه و هدف: یکی از شاخصه های بهزیستی، نشاط ذهنی است. شناخت عوامل پیشبینی کننده نشاط ذهنی به عنوان یک شاخص مهم و اساسی از سلامتی و انگیزش از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی رابطه علی کنترل روانشناختی والدین با نشاط ذهنی دانشجویان با نقش واسطهگری راهبردهای تنظیم شناختی هیجان بود. مواد و روشها: شرکت کنندگان شامل ۳۴۶ دانشجوی کارشناسی دانشگاه شیراز بودند که با استفاده از روش نمونهگیری تصادفی خوشهای انتخاب شده و مقیاس کنترل روانشناختی وابستهمدار و پیشرفتمدار سوننز و همکاران، پرسشنامه تنظیم شناختی هیجان گارنفسکی و کرایج، و مقیاس نشاط ذهنی ریان و فردریک را تکمیل نمودند. یافته ها: یافته ها نشان دادند که کنترل روانشناختی والدین به صورت منفی نشاط ذهنی و راهبردهای انطباقی تنظیم شناختی هیجان را تحت تاثیر قرار می دهد. همچنین اثر کنترل روانشناختی والدین بر راهبردهای غیر انطباقی تنظیم شناختی هیجان، به صورت مثبت و از لحاظ آماری معنی دار بود. راهبردهای غیر انطباقی اثر منفی و معنی دار و راهبردهای انطباقی اثر مثبت و معنی دار بر نشاط ذهنی داشتند. آزمون بوت استراپ معنی داری اثر واسطه ای راهبردهای تنظیم شناختی هیجان در رابطه بین کنترل روانشناختی والدین و نشاط ذهنی را مورد تایید قرار داد. بحث و نتیجه گیری: بر اساس یافته های این پژوهش می توان نتیجه گرفت که کاهش کنترل روان شناختی والدین موجب افزایش استفاده از راهبردهای انطباقی تنظیم شناختی هیجان در فرزندان شده و از این طریق نشاط ذهنی آن ها را ارتقا می بخشد.
