Investigating Architectural Design in Housing, People's Living Environment and Residents' Sense of Belonging

In order to meet people's needs, modern residential units need to be functionally modified. Humans have ever-changing needs, hence it is important to adapt their living environment as much as possible to suit their needs. Flexible architecture is a design that adapts to the needs of its occupants in a variety of situations. In modern homes, it has made it possible for people to alter their interior spaces. Put differently, flexible housing gives occupants no size or function restrictions and creates a versatile and adaptable setting. Thus, the purpose of this article is to raise awareness and advance flexible architecture in housing design so that inhabitants' sense of belonging in their home is increased in addition to being met at different times. According to the goal of the study, research data has been gathered and presented utilizing the descriptive approach and library studies. The study's findings demonstrate that adaptable architectural design raises housing standards and, in turn, raises inhabitants' feelings of community.
