Abstract:

Slow tourism is a form of travel that puts social responsibility first while appreciating the environment, cultural identities, and historical contexts. It offers a diverse range and the connections that a tourist establishes by coexisting in a place with other travelers and the existing community. In spite of the fact that slow tourism has been examined broadly, a few crucial issues are still unresolved. What recognizes areas that have been branded to advance slow tourism? What correct benchmarks are utilized to decide whether a visitor goal complies with the standards of slow tourism? It is obvious from the writing that slow tourism and sustainable tourism have both contrasts and likenesses. In this article, I make an exertion to outline the most criteria from the slow tourism literature that can be utilized to decide whether a potential tourist destination complies with the slow tourism values or not.
