Abstract:

Today, due to the increase in population and the growth of urbanization, construction activities have seen a significant boom, which has caused an increase in construction waste, and these wastes have caused environmental problems. One of the ways to use these wastes is to recycle them and reuse them in the construction industry, which reduces the excessive use of natural resources. In this research, the laboratory study of replacing different percentages of recycled fine aggregates (RFA) with natural fine aggregate (NFA) has been done. The replacement amounts of recycled fine aggregate (RFA) are ۲۵%, ۵۰%, ۷۵%, and ۱۰۰%, which were used in concrete compositions by making ۱۵ samples with five mixing plans with a fixed water-cement ratio, and the compressive strength of the cubic samples was obtained in megapascals. The results of the experiment showed that with the increase in the percentage of recycled fine aggregates, the compressive strength of cube-shaped samples containing recycled aggregates decreased between ۵ and ۳۰% compared to the control sample (CS).
