Abstract:
In this paper, a Z source converter is used in a wireless power transfer system. This is done by replacing the inverter in the wireless power transfer system with a Z source inverter that has a buck-boost output. This eliminates the need for a buck-boost converter in the wireless power transfer system. The removal of the buck-boost converter improves the performance of the converter. Additionally, the LCC-LCC structure is used to reduce reactive power. This reduces losses caused by the leakage inductance of the transmitter and receiver coils and increases the efficiency of the converter.
