The Impact Of Climate Change And Air Pollution On Asian Forests abstract

Forests in Asia face a dual threat from climate change and air pollution, which are rapidly changing the quality of the air. This increase in greenhouse gases, trace gases, volatile organic compounds, and ozone not only affects air quality but also contributes to global warming and climate change. The impact of these two stressors on forest ecosystems requires global attention, as their combined effects have not been extensively studied, especially in the Asian region in this review article, we aim to explore the interconnected impact of air pollution and climate change on Asian forests. By examining the decline of different forest types as indicators of ecosystem degradation, we hope to shed light on the importance of understanding how these two factors interact. Our goal is to summarize past and current research in this area to help researchers and policymakers develop more effective strategies for managing and protecting forest ecosystems in Asia.
