Abstract:
A fast, green, and simple synthesis method was used to prepare BBR-NMs. An aqueous mixture of ۰.۵% w/wBBR, and ۴۹.۵% polysorbate with a small amount of methanol was vortexed for over ۲ h to form a solid thinfilm. Methanol was then removed by rotary evaporation under reduced pressure. The obtained thin film washydrated using doubled distilled water by ۵۰% (w/w) at ۵۰-۵۵ °C (under bain-marie). The mixture was stirreduntil a relatively clear solution was obtained. Subsequently, the solution was centrifuged at ۱۴۴۰۰ rpm for ۲۰min. The supernatant phase was then filtered by amicon centrifugal filter (۳۰۰۰) to remove excess BBR. Thefiltered solution was stored at ۴oC for further uses. The prepared BBR-NMs were then characterized using dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Result: Encapsulation efficacy of prepared BBR-NM was measured ۷۹% according to spectrophotometerassay results with a diameter of ~۱۰۰ nm
