Abstract:
This study explores the intricate relationship between climate change, food security, and sustainableproduction strategies in Iran, with a focus on maintaining safe food systems. As a country facingsignificant environmental challenges, including water scarcity and land degradation, Iran serves as acritical case study for examining these interconnected issues. The research investigates how climatechange impacts agricultural productivity and food security in Iran, and evaluates current and potentialsustainable production methods that can enhance resilience while ensuring food safety. Through acomprehensive analysis of climate data, agricultural practices, and food safety measures, this studyidentifies key challenges and opportunities for balancing sustainability with food security in the Iraniancontext. The findings suggest that adaptive strategies, such as improved water management, droughtresistantcrop varieties, and innovative farming techniques, can play a crucial role in mitigating theimpacts of climate change on food production. However, these strategies must be carefully implementedto maintain food safety standards. The study also examines the policy implications of these findings, proposing a framework for integrating climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, and foodsafety considerations into national food security planning. By providing insights into the complexinterplay of these factors, this research contributes to the broader global discourse on sustainable foodsystems in the face of climate change, offering valuable lessons for other countries facing similarchallenges.
