Dominant Concourse about Tourism in Iran

The aim of this study is to identify the perspectives of different stakeholders on of tourism inIran. Present study is qualitative. It is based on content analysis. Data were gathered throughinterviews with stakeholders in Tehran including policy makers and entrepreneurs in the fieldof tourism, as well as reading magazines and news and articles related to tourism. A sample ofstatements representative of different views (dominant concourse) was selected from the ۱۴۸statements (present concourse) mentioned above. Generalization of findings is not a major concern ofthis study. The results of this study have implications for policymakers to develop infrastructure andattract tourists to the target community.
