Multi-Objective Optimization of Scheduling and Routing for Home Healthcare: A Case Study of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam abstract
This paper presents a multi-objective optimization model aimed at optimizing routing and scheduling in Home Health Care (HHC) management. The primary objectives of the model are to minimize the total travel time and overtime of nurses, while simultaneously maximizing the satisfaction levels of both patients and nurses. To achieve them, a multi-objective mathematical programming model is proposed. The numerical results obtained from optimal scheduling and allocations are analyzed, focusing on the case study conducted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Additionally, a stopping criterion is employed to control the problem-solving time.
