Sliding Mode Control of Switch Reluctance Motor without Chattering

In this paper, we present a new method for designing continuous sliding mode controller (SMC) without chattering for nonlinear non-affine systems. The proposed design methodologysuppresses chattering and preserves invariance property of closed loop system completely. So the attractive properties ofSMC such as invariance, simplicity in design and concept are preserved.
