Digital Technology in Business Models of the Tourism Industry abstract

This article examines successful business models in the tourism industry and the key factors influencing them. The main objective of the research is to analyze and describe five vital factors: internal marketing, innovation, customer relationship management, information technology, and empowered employees, which impact the success of business models in this industry. A descriptive research method was employed, reviewing existing articles and sources. The findings indicate that each of these factors directly affects the competitiveness and sustainability of business models. Internal marketing aids in attracting and retaining customers, innovation leads to the provision of new and unique experiences, customer relationship management enhances interactions and customer satisfaction, information technology helps optimize processes and deliver better services, and empowered employees play a crucial role in enhancing service quality. The article offers practical suggestions for strengthening these factors and improving business models in the tourism industry, emphasizing the importance of focusing on these elements for achieving sustainable success.
