The Effect of Game -Based Corrective Exercise on Balance in Children with Intellectual Disability Aged 9 -11 Years abstract

This study examines the effect of game-based corrective exercise on balance in children with intellectual disabilities (ID) aged 9-11 years. A total of 30 participants were assessed using the Tandem Gait Balance Assessment (TGBA) before and after an eight-week intervention program. The experimental group engaged in structured game-based exercises, while the control group participated in standard physical activities. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was employed to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. Results showed significant improvements in balance scores for the experimental group compared to the control group, indicating that game-based corrective exercises can enhance balance in this demographic.
