The Peruse of Designing a Hybrid Filter to Omission Harmonics in Distributed Generation systems abstract
Recently, several kinds of renewable energy sources as DG unit are introduced to the distribution systems which results in power quality problems due to the dispersedgeneration of low voltage systems. In order to improve power quality indices, a construction of hybrid filter is presentedincluding a shunt active filter and distributed passive filters. In the proposed design, the connection of each individual passive filter to a distortion sours eliminates main harmonics and supply reactive power for the distortion source. On the other hand, the active part compensates the remaining harmonicsand corrects the system unbalance. In order to examine the proposed method, simulations are carried out in the case ofdistribution system with dynamic nonlinear loads and Microturbine and several dynamic nonlinear loads without any filters using just shunt active filter, shunt passive filter and the proposed hybrid structure
