This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and using library resources, has examined the opportunities and threats posed by artificial intelligence in this field. The research hypothesis is that artificial intelligence can play an effective role in strengthening offensive and defensive systems by optimizing military processes, but it requires comprehensive management of challenges and careful monitoring of its applications. The research results show that artificial intelligence has a high potential for enhancing national security with the ability to quickly identify threats, improve predictions, and automate operations. However, successful exploitation of this technology requires designing transparent regulatory frameworks, strengthening cybersecurity, and investing in the development of skilled human resources. This research will help policymakers and military decision-makers to better understand the advantages and disadvantages of AI and to exploit this technology intelligently.
