The Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Sustainable Conservation of Cultural Heritage

Global changes, along with the development of Information Technology, with the slogan of Artificial Intelligence for all, have greatly affected human life. The extent of this development, now and in the future, has brought a set of Global Challenges, along with Sustainable Development, in entering the new Millennium. In order to proactively face this issue, people today must identify those challenges and prepare to face them in order to align with the goals of Sustainable Development. Culture as an important factor in identifying societies, in line with global changes, can easily lose its place; In this regard, Cultural Heritage, as a symbolic subset of culture and a symbol of Education and Learning in the development of human cognitive growth in Global Challenges, needs protection. Protection that is based on the principles of Conservation in Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development, considering the use of Artificial Intelligence in Cultural Heritage. This research aims to maintain the position of Cultural Heritage, in order to achieve the goals of Sustainable Development, by looking at Global Challenges and choosing three challenges: 'Global Foresight', 'Artificial Intelligence for all' and 'Teaching and Learning', with the trend analysis method and science surveying has been done in the period of 2019-2023. The results of this research show that the five index trends of Classification, Computer Vision, 3D Reconstruction, Recommender Systems and merging achievements of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Intangible Heritage, with a forward-looking view, are compatible with the principles and goals of Sustainable Development. The obtained results show the Growing Interaction of Cultural Heritage with humans for the development of Cognitive Development, taking into account the principles of justice and equality, people-centeredness and Anticipation of Executive Actions, in order to Plan and Resolve the impact of Climate Change challenges in the ecosystem. It has Cultural Effects in Sustainable Development.
