Ethical Challenges in Natural Language Processing abstract

Natural language processing, as one of the important branches of artificial intelligence, deals with the understanding and production of human language and is used in many fields. However, the use of natural language processing methods and models is accompanied by numerous ethical challenges that must be considered. This review article identifies and analyzes the ethical challenges associated with natural language processing. These challenges include data bias, privacy, algorithm transparency, and the social and economic impacts of natural language processing-based technologies. This article also examines possible solutions to reduce these challenges and create more equitable and transparent natural language processing systems. The aim of this research is to provide insights to researchers and policymakers so that they can understand these challenges and provide better solutions for the ethical use of natural language processing technologies.
