A new approach to the fuzzy model predictive control (FMPC) under consideration is applied for regulating the step down DC-DC converter. The modified fuzzy relational model (MRFM) recently introduced by Aghili and Menhaj is used for modeling of DC-DC converter. The model predictive control (MPC) is developed for the proposed model of buck converter which has highly non-linear characteristics. Robustness of the presented the proposed control methods is validated by considering different uncertainties in the model
