The immunological and metabolic effects in primary liver cancer are significant abstract

Primary liver cancer is one of the most common cancers and the fourth leading cause of death worldwide, arisingfrom metabolic changes and their impact on immune cells. In this review, after studying 20 reputable articles, fourselected papers on the immunological and metabolic effects on this disease were analyzed. The results indicatethat the metabolic adaptation of cancer cells can weaken immune cell function and facilitate their growth. Thesechanges have a profound impact on the behavior and effectiveness of immune responses and may pave the wayfor the development of novel strategies in cancer treatment.
